The city, Giresun, whose history
dates back to the 7th century BC, was founded by the colonists of Miletus. The
city, which was ruled by the Persians, Romans, and Ottomans throughout its
history, is now the territory of Turkey. Giresun is a coastal city with a
population of 450000 located in the northeast of Turkey. The main livelihood of
